Empowering Your Space with Love

Tidy on Your Terms was created for anyone who’s ever looked around and thought, “How did it get this messy—again?”

If life feels like one endless game of catch-up (with clutter in the lead), you’re in the right place.

This isn’t about rigid routines, color-coded bins, or pretending you have it all together. This is about finding peace in your space without losing your mind—or your weekends.

We believe that care tasks like cleaning, organizing, and decluttering aren’t just chores… they’re deeply personal acts of self-support. And when you approach them with self-love instead of self-shame, they can become powerful tools for healing, clarity, and even joy.

Inside this space, you’ll find:

  • Healing-forward strategies for managing your space with self-compassion

  • Gentle guidance for folks navigating perfectionism, neurodivergence, burnout, or just life

  • Realistic tips and mindset shifts that connect your home care to deeper emotional well-being

  • Flexible systems for your space, your time, your money—and your nervous system

Whether you’re here for a digital resource, a mindset reset, or in-person help tidying your space in California, we’re here to remind you:

🌿 You’re not broken.

🧺 You don’t have to do it all at once.

💛 And it absolutely can get easier—on your terms.

A note from the author - Why I started Tidy on My Terms

I’ve always had a natural eye for organizing—it was my go-to way to feel a little more in control when life felt like too much. But truthfully, I didn’t understand just how deeply our spaces reflect what’s going on inside… until I spent years navigating the hard stuff myself.

For a long time, I lived with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. And during those seasons, even the smallest everyday tasks felt like mountains. It wasn’t laziness. It wasn’t a lack of knowledge. It was survival. And when you’re in survival mode, your home can start to reflect the chaos you’re trying so hard to hold in.

Over the last decade, I committed to healing from the inside out. I worked—really worked—on self-love, self-talk, boundaries, and recovery. And something beautiful happened as my inner world shifted: so did my outer one. My space started to feel calmer, more supportive… even joyful. Not because I forced myself to tidy, but because I started to care for myself differently.

Tidy on Your Terms was born out of that journey. It’s not just about bins and checklists (although I do love a good container). It’s about helping others reconnect with their spaces in a way that honors who they are right now. I wanted to create a safe space where care tasks aren’t about shame or perfectionism—they’re about self-trust, growth, and creating a home that supports your actual life.

My approach blends practical tools with mindset shifts rooted in compassion. Because when you speak to yourself with more kindness, everything else—how you clean, how you organize, how you rest—starts to align, too.

So if you’re someone who’s tired of all-or-nothing expectations, if you’re craving peace but not sure where to start, you’re not alone. You’re not broken. And I’m so glad you found your way here.

This is your space to heal, tidy, and grow—on your terms.
